It can be demanding as you progress however the support is there for you. The industry is so unique it gives you a real sense of purpose and makes you proud to be a part of it. The management and staff are great and overall its a brilliant career.
The programme is always improving. The best part of it is how committed the managers and senior managers are towards your development, regular one to ones and the flexibility means that the programme is tailored towards you.
The support is very good, if you want to try something different or move site/department or experience a different site or department it can be done. Also the people you work with are brilliant and friendly and are happy to help you.
Derby uni is good at helping you with assignments and any other demands you may have but it has undergone a few changes that slowed things down but it has quickly risen back to its standard.
