I am a trading underwriter which involves investigating and evaluating insurance risks , setting terms and conditions and premiums and negotiating the terms with brokers.
As the apprenticeship is Insurance practitioner level 3 the course has helped me development my existing skills and also give me more insight into the insurance industry and regulations.
This has been a really enjoyable programme that has helped enhance my capabilities in my job role as well as pick up new skills along the way.
Very well structured with regular meetings with my tutor. They can help with any aspects of the programme and get you prepared for any exams that you will take.
My employer has been very flexible with the support they have given and allowed me the best chance of success on the course.
Great support from Kaplan who have ensured I am where I need to be at all the reviews and meetings we have had.
This will be a great help in my day to day role and any role in the future I take in the insurance industry. The qualification shows I am competent in my role and will show I have the evidence to show this.
Yes lots of extra activities including football, running clubs, sports and social groups and teams.
