My daily role varies depend on the needs of the team. I could be scheduling interviews for colleges or reviewing CVs for my own roles that I am managing as well as organising and facilitating assessment centres.
I have developed my communication skills with communicating with different stakeholders everyday. I have also done internal training that helped me identify my strength but also my weaknesses and how I can further improve myself both in and out of work.
The team I am in is very supportive and is happy to help whenever I need it but they also give me the opportunity to further my skills by giving me new challenges. The companies culture is a positive environment and I have enjoyed my apprenticeship so far.
My programme is well organised with having inductions in my first week where relevant. I have regular meetings with my assessor who ensures my progression in my apprenticeship. I get support for all members of the TA team weather they are team leads or daily colleges.
Whenever I need support their is no one in the team I couldn't turn to. Everyone in the team are happy to help. There are multiple people in the office who offer any support needed weather that is work related or mental health related.
I have regular meetings with my training provider so I know what I have to do to complete my qualification
I think it helps to a certain degree however my provider struggles to link it to in house recruitment and apply it to my role as I the qualification is agency based recruitment.
The team have one or two team meeting a year where we all get together to catch up and network with each other. There is a NEXT UK group within Siemens which allows all entry level talent to come together and connect with other grads, interns or apprentices.
