  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is helping others in the business with Underwriter questions and referrals. I also deal with taking over complaints and resolving them.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • From working the IFI module of insurance I have been able to understanding more complex terms in the insurance market and this has grown my confidence in dealing face to face within the insurance industry. This course and the support from my Company and talent coach has given me the confidence to sit my exam next week.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • As I have said previously I enjoy the programme as it is helping my professional development and also I am able to help my Team with questions they might have about the industry and develop my knowledge. I am getting the right amount of support from my place of work and also the apprenticeship.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured, I know what modules I need to complete in the correct time frame and when to sit my exam before the new unit arrives.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive the correct amount of support. I have people in my department which are also completing the apprenticeship and we support each other with the questions. I get support off my Team coach and the time booked out to revise.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have monthly catch ups with my talent coach who supports me with my revision and any questions I have relating to the course. if I need any help in the mean time she is always replies to my emails in a quick manner.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As said previously It allows me to develop my skills and also help others around me with questions that I might of not been able to answer previously or wouldn't of had the confidence in committing to.

  • There is always volunteering opportunities to get involved in. We have quarterly and annual events that we can also get involved in a social outings throughout the year.

  • There is always progression with in different departments. There is the opportunity to better yourself and get the support you need and gain new qualifications.
