Currently, I am undergoing the college training program which is an extensive course which covers; Electrical, maintenance and hand skills work. I have also been completing a Rail specific course.
I have learnt how to wire a circuit with different types of cables, this has allowed me to gain an understanding of what it would be like at depot.
I really do enjoy my program, this is because it allows me to learn about something which I have a passion for.
The program is structured very well, this allows me to be able to cover all of the different points and requirements needed within the allotted hours.
My employer is always able to phone call and communicate via email, he attends college weekly to chat if needed with the different apprentices.
My training provider had provided me with different resources which are relevant and comprehensive, allowing me to complete my work with the correct resources.
The qualification has completely helped me with the work, this is because i have learnt many skills which i would not have unless i completed this course.
To my knowledge, at the moment there are none due to the fact that I am still attending college, however I do have friends within the depots who complete social talks with colleagues.

Bombardier is a brilliant company which allows for progression by learning actively and having lecturers who are actually interested by the subject rather than being there due to being paid.
If you are applying for bombardier, express your real train interest and express your team working abilities, these are attributes which the company strives for.
