Day to day my role involves testing samples
I have learnt all new skills
The at work training is enjoyable however training at college is poor
Due to my line manager, my programme is well structured and organised
I receive a very high level of support, in all aspects of the apprenticeship.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they provide me with enough time to complete any for my qualification at work
The qualification which I currently do helps very little towards my role at work. There are very few links between my role and the course and those which are there are very vague.
There a number of extracurricular activities to be involved in such as volunteering, social events, fundraising
Yes
There are excellent benefits to working at Tarmac such as good pay, stability, holidays (25 with bank holidays), training. Working for a large company also meaning you gain a lot of experience in different areas and will mean should you want to you can more easily find a different job within Tarmac.
