typically , I help tradesmen and they help me learn all the different aspects of my job and how to do my job safely and correctly. I also complete building tasks that my journeyman gives me . throughout my apprenticeship I do various courses that help me understand the requirements of my job.
I have a better understanding of the workplace and how to conduct myself in a safe manner at all times. I have learnt how to look after my ppe and tools, ive also learnt to communicate effectively with others in the workforce. I have also gained confidence with my skills.
I have enjoyed the outward bound that we first went on. training 2000 was an excellent way to start my understanding of my trade. the apprenticeship is very enjoyable , I enjoy being on the shop floor using my practical skills , and thoroughly enjoy the whole of my apprenticeship with bae
I think it is well organised and structured and I feel comfortable within the company
I have support from various people in my workplace, there is a an apprentice team, I also have team leaders and line managers that I can go to for support whenever I need to
A lot of support , I can freely ask when I need something or advice on a topic
I feel it helps and I am happy with my training provider as they help and allow me to grow in my job

I am enjoying my time at BAE, I'm learning all the time and feel I am gaining not just qualifications but confidencence and knowledge of the workplace
the tips I would give is go for it , choose a trade you enjoy and make sure you look into the various apprenticeships they offer
