Every day is different but we work on the infrastructure and network that provides tv & content across the uk and the globe. Daily i will be running projects and working on kit that helps to provide this service and allows our customers to have a reliable network.
I have acquired a range of skills ranging from softer skills to technical skills. Things like communication, project management, organisation and also skills such as networking ,coding and general it skills.
I love my programme - it is so diverse with job roles and we are given lots of opportunities around and outside the workplace.
The apprenticeship scheme at bt is very structured. we work closely with our managers and have touch basis monthly as well as biannual reviews that get put on the system.
A lot. We have regular contact with people around the business and they understand there may be times we need time to study
Our training providers are always contactable via email and as our campus is not too far away we are able to visit and contact them face to face.
Everything learnt at uni is relevant to the workplace as our scheme has been developed from people around the organisation and know what skills/training are needed to excel.
yes we have a social team which hold regular events such as softball and football tournaments, pub quizzes.
Yes
The work here is so diverse and the opportunities are limitless.
Be passionate about the job you are applying for and know the future of bt and their core values. Also take part in extra curricular actives and network whenever you get the opportunity.
