Building Dashboards to allow everyday business users access to large amounts of information but in a structure easy to use way.
Yes loads. When I started I thought linking some worksheets in Excel was good. Now i work with datasets that are too big for Excel and use computer programmes to combine a wide variety of data sources.
Its a challenge. It is hard. But it has opened up new areas of data, conversations and networks that i never really knew existed before
The learnings are good. It touches lots of different areas. This could be a bit of a double edge sword - is it better to cover lots or areas or specialise in one or two areas. The project write ups take much longer that the actual work,
My employer has been great. It has good networks internally. Am very lucky to work for a large friendly organisation a data heavy area.
Arch are excellent. Cannot fault their training.
I have helped colleagues with their work in ways that i could never have before and hopefully providing better ways of working
