Resourcing and talent planning, meeting with stakeholders and colleagues. visiting other co-op sites. looking at talent and resourcing strategy. dealing with talent planning and resourcing issues and challenges. working with the business to help land new technology and changes. supporting the team with any challenging situations or stakeholders where escalated
I have learnt lots of new skills, however I haven't been given the opportunity to put these into practice, I have just completed my 3rd unit and have yet to hear about the skills and behaviours assessment- I think once I carry this out I will be able to put these into practice.
The programme is good however there has been some issues with the provider we're learning with which means the journey has been slightly bumpy. The Co-op are really supportive, and there is a great internal support network of other apprentices. However more support from the learning provider is needed. I'm confident the Co-op will choose a more suitable provider for the next cohort of apprentices.
The Co-op have been great and have done everything they've needed to do and have certainly provided the support I've needed to be able to do the apprenticeship however there is a serious lacking in the organisation from the learning provider which has been addressed by the Co-op and we're working through this together.
The support I receive from Co-op is amazing, all of my team and managers are really supportive. It also really helps that there is a group of us doing the same course so we are able to all support each other internally. Any issues we've had with the provider have been addressed.
The training provider hasn't been great to be honest. I've had multiple tutors and multiple contacts and half way through the apprenticeship still waiting to find out who my actual tutor is. The people who are supporting me in the interim are great however and have really supported me.
I really think the qualification will allow me to work on more complex and strategic projects which I'm really looking forward to, the continued professional development will also really supporting me not just now but in my career development moving forward. I'm really looking forward to that element of the qualification
We are allowed and encouraged to go to networking/professional events. The thing that makes the apprenticeship so enjoyable is that I have a support network of circa 15 apprenticeships who are all doing the same course which is great, we have a WhatsApp group and regularly chat to support each other
Yes
The Co-op is an amazing place to work, they really consider your skills, behaviours and motivations which allows you to develop in your career. All the managers are really supportive and recognise the work you put in to develop. The culture is great, a really enjoyable place to work.
Be yourself always. Co-op love for colleagues to show their individuality and personality and really value everyone's differences. The application process is a bit lengthier than anywhere else I've applied to but its because they are doing a thorough job. With it being a big organisation there is lots of room for career development opportunities too so definitely apply for not just a job, a career.
