I am currently in first year. This involves being at college full time.
Hand skills for producing metalwork. Electronic knowledge. Developing maths skills.
I enjoy my programme, however being in college full time can be very tedious. I would like to be on site more often. Perhaps in 1 month on, 1 month off blocks.
My company is very organised and will sort any problem out. With this being, the college is very unorganised.
I receive lots of support from my employer. With 3 monthly reviews, I can sort out any problems with my line manager.
My tutors provide lots of help and go out of their way to make sure everybody is upto date with help sheets etc.
I feel that the full training could be sufficient without college, however college shaped an apprentice well for the future.
My team went to Adrenaline North Yorkshire assault. This was a good day out and focused on team building exercises.
