I help families in need of when their loved ones have passed away. I keep into contact with them and help them arrange the perfect funeral for their loved ones. I also do the administration side and invoicing and safe to serve around our funeral home.
I have learnt everything so far within my job role for helping families. Some of the apprenticeship workshops have been useful.
I only enjoy the actual workshops relevant to my job but I do not enjoy the 4 hour round trip I have to complete to get to them!
It isn't very good as I have been in the programme for 8 months and I am still so unsure of really, what I supposed to do. I write my reflective logs and loads of things just because I don't know what I am meant to write them on.
I feel I would get the support if I asked, but I feel if I do ask I still won't get what I wanted. I need lots of alone time with a coach to get what I need out of it.
I feel like we don't get much as people are very hard to get hold of, sometimes you want to ask 1 question and you simply can't get an answer, therefore your stuck.
I feel it does a little but I learn more when I am actually in my job and doing it. The workshops are too full on for me and I can't retain it all.
There are lots of community activities to get involved in which I do.
Yes
I find Co-op a fantastic company to work for.
I would tell others to apply for a job with Co-op.
