I have an on a number of causes and have learnt a lot about the quarrying industry most notably geotechnical skills health and safety skills and how the production prosses works
as with all programs, it has its ups and downs I have enjoyed all of the programs, however, wish there was more of a pathway to follow and an end goal this would of made the experience more enjoyable
more structure would have been known hower there has been a lot of opportunities that I have been able to take that I might not have been able to if more structure was there
I have had direct support form a mentor this has worked well however having a mentor in an area role can make it difficult to get contact on occasion when this happens there is others who can be contacted to help
the training provider is always happy to help when contacted and is understanding of other stresses
I gave vital base knowledge of the industry as a whole that has helped me with a wider knowledge of the industry and other options out there
there is a lot of professional networking opoitunatys and development opportunities I personally have bean involved in an employee development program this has helped me to meet other from through out the industry
Yes
there is plenty of opportunity if willing to take them
do you research on what the company does and think about what area interests you as there is many different departments so there is somewhere for everyone with in the company
