Construction site management - Programming & planning works, writing RAMS, setting up construction sites (carrying our inductions & briefings) & monitoring progress on site.
My confidence has been considerably improved along with my knowledge of the construction industry and man management skills.
I enjoyed the people I worked with and met on site, my work is very rewarding as I can make a positive influence on someones life through the work that myself and my team produce.
My programme gave me an opportunity to work in different areas of the business.
I had a mentor at work along with a Site Agent who oversees my schemes. I received a good amount of support.
My training provider provided me with a minor level of support and the overall standard of teaching was very low and poorly organised.
I believe that in some ways my qualifications helped me with my experience to utilise on site when making decisions.
A christmas meal out is organised yearly.
Yes
Tarmac provided me with an excellent opportunity and have supported me well throughout my apprenticeship. Without Tarmac I do not know what I would currently be doing!
If you are offered a role then take it as Tarmac offer brilliant opportunities for everyone.
