I am a team leader at coop food and I lead/manage a tea of staff to ensure the store operates smoothly
How to lead and manage my team more efficiently and how to help staff succeed with trading and developing new skills
Wouldn't say enjoy, more thinking of the benefits for the future.
Poor on communication and feed back after assignments, had no idea if what I was doing was correct or even right half the time.
To be honest support from the employer is not need, only the hours weekly so as I can Complete my assignments.
There if needed but you have to ask as like I said very little feed back.
In retail 0 but in deleloping and leading others I wold say has been the biggest help.
Don't be silly, everyone in my work place is boring. Can just about get a Christmas meal out of the business let alot any other group event.
No
Not payed enough for the stress and pressures that you get asked to do and the only ones that get the glory are store managers, why do they get a bonus? when we do all the donkey work. They wouldn't get anything without the workers.
Avoid go to aldi or lidl! Get appreciated better and a much better pay as they invest into staff. Coop are image conscious and give all the money to charity.
