In the first year of the apprenticeship you spend it at north Lindsey college, with monthly visits to the training centre in hull
I have developed knowledge behind electronics and electrical skill I came to this apprenticeship with practical skills in these areas but limited theory experience.
I enjoy the programme, and I am really looking forward to getting away from college and getting on site to progress in this field
It’s structured very well with you spending a year/ 18 months at college with frequent visits to the training centre to keep you in touch with the company.
Support is readily available from the employer, via email phone calls and visits to college.
Any information we require/request is usually provided with no hassle and explained well. A couple of our tutors from the college go above and beyond what they are required to do.
The qualifications we will get will ensure we have the foundation knowledge and advanced knowledge that will put us in a great position when we first get on-site
I believe there is extra-curricular activities available for example some of the apprentices have set up a 6 a side football team that take part in weekly games
Yes
