Day to day running of a 91 bed hotel. Managing a team of 31.
I was lucky enough to be on a Secondment, where I upskilled, and developed my skills and knowledge in housekeeping.
I really am enjoying my apprenticeship, it's helping me further my career in whitbread and above all I'm doing it to increase my knowledge.
The thing I find helpful is having a clear structure and lots of guidance within my apprenticeship.
My employer supports me at site by helping me with my skills endorsements.
Immense amount of support. Gemma is a great trainer, let's me take it at my speed.
I am feeling more confident in my role and better understanding of my role.

I have worked for Whitbread for nearly 9 years and have been many obstacles in my path, which has helped my be the person I am today. .
Whitbread do alot for charity and are a very rewarding company to work for.
