Telecoms engineer repairing and maintaining Openreach network dealing with customers day to day.
Came from repairing laptops so learnt numerous skills to do this job well
I enjoy the job a lot. The apprenticeship is tedious due to the repetitive nature of the questions and the amount of photos needed is just over the top. Especially for a level 2
Had a great assessor who has gone above and beyond. So it’s been well organised by her.
Great support from my manager always willing to help me with time to finish work.
Assessor is 10/10 helps us all really well
I think buddying and hands on training is better for this role specifically
Not that I know of
Yes
I work in a great team. It’s a good job where no two jobs are the same so keeps you thinking and is physical at times.
It’s a commitment but it’s worth it
