As well as, processing invoices and raising cheques for re-ratings. Lastly, updating any information required whether it be ratings, pubs tenancy or support visits/ coaching sessions and making a note of this.
I have gained loads of new skills administration based as well as practical skills. Additional I have gained a better understand around Health and safety Jargon and policies as well as, maintaining professionalism throughout. In additions, to building and increasing my knowledge around health and safety laws and responsibilities.
Really enjoying the apprenticeship to have the ability to earn why I learn, and improve my knowledge each and everyday. The opportunity to work In the field of health and safety and have the chance to get my foot in the door creating a lifelong career. As well as meeting fantastic people along the way!
The apprenticeship itself was a bit unorganised to begin with, but once we properly got into it it's structure and organised has improved massively and being great so far. The work based part to the apprenticeship has been fantastic since day one and can not fault anything so far, been brilliant.
I have had massive support from my employer who has helped me since day one and is always offering support and asking if I need any more support, which he couldn't give anymore as he has been absolutely fantastic. It has helped me massively with my role which is very much appreciated.
I get great support from my training provider who I have monthly meeting with.
As I have never done this apprenticeship before this qualification will enable me to cover all aspects needed to carry out this role effectively, as well as giving me a recognised qualification as an end result.
There are loads of professional networking events on offer at Marston's, I will be attended the team development day.
