Data Scientist: To undertake advanced analysis and develop models/solutions to problems concerning prediction/ classification / regression
I have been in a data science position for 3 years now and I have even still gained knowledge of things I didn't know about. So yes, in short, I have gained new skills and also polished existing skills
I enjoy my programme very much from the technical aspects however I do not like the academic writing aspects (these do not apply to me in my day to day role at all and I feel forced to play the "game" to get the grades)
The programme is well structured and lessons are delivered effecitvely. Workloads are quite bad
30% of working time is given for study. However there aren't many experienced data scientists to feed off from at TUI
Support from the university is good.
The qualification has a project which we have to do with our business that not only forces us to use knowledge that we have gained but also use it towards solving business problems
