I chose to stay in my existing role when joining the apprenticeship as a regional manager. My role involves managing a retail travel agency in the town of Leyland. I manage a team of 5 and we work towards sales & service targets each week and month. My responsibility also include developing my team members and some compliance stuff too.
Yes I have learned a lot of new skills and also built on my existing skill set. The apprenticeship has broadened my knowledge of the company and of business in general.
It can be very challenging at times, but I am really enjoying all aspects. I am part of a cohort of 15 within the company & it is great to be able to learn from each other and support each other in both the work and study side of things. I have learnt so much in just 18 months and look forward to learning more
The structure is great & we learn varied content throughout
Lots, I get support from the training team, my colleagues, my manager, my mentor and anyone else I need it from
We get as much support as we need.
Really well - The more I learn the more I understand about our business and can develop my team
no - not in retail

I love working here, they are a great company who really encourage development & I get fab discounts on holidays too!!
Be yourself in the interview, we are very much a company that is all about the people and great personalities shine through when you are applying for jobs
