Yes, I have learnt much more about the industry I work in
I did find it quite stressfull trying to do the amount of work required alongside a fulltime job. I am pleased I have done it, but it is hard work.
The structure of learning is good, and once you have done one exam you get into the swing of independent learning and exams.
My employer was supportive, although to start with I wasn't given the 20% off the job training so felt myself slipping behind.
Lots, there is good material available to help me.

The hours are long, the shifts are bad. The annualised hours contracts don't provide flexibility, especially if you have children or a dependant. The pay is poor for employees as loyalty isn't recognised.
Make sure Insurance is what you are interested in, and that you can work hard.
