  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with TUI and really enjoy the programme. I have learnt lots of new skills within the industry and have had so much support with helping me progress towards my dream career. The course is very fun as you learn on the job and your colleagues are always around to help you learn and develop your knowledge and skills

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The course was not perfectly structured when I first joined TUI as there was a slight coursework shuffle around and there was a system chaneg over. Although this happened my assessor and the apprenticeship team were always on hand to help with any issues and support myself through the changes to ensure that I stayed on track with my learning

  • I receive lots of support from my assessor and the apprenticeship team within TUI. • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I do not believe that I would have progressed as much as I have without taking part in the apprenticeship programme. There is lots that you need to know for the role and the apprenticeship sets you up and helps teach you everything that you need to be the best travel consultant that you possibly can be

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yearly there is a TUI conference where the managers go on a mini holiday to collect awards that the stores and regions have won. There are no other extra curricular activities that take place, there are sometimes educational trips but you have to fit the requirements before you are accepted as a possible candidate

  • Because TUI Have helped to teach me so many valuable skills not only for my role within the company but very important life skills also. TUI have helped set me up in the career that I have always dreamed of and I beleive that they are a brilliant company to for for to help you develop your skills

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
  • Be confident and do not be scared to ask lots of questions in your interview. If you are not accepted for a role when you first apply, apply again for a similar role, this Is what I done and although TUI did not think that I was ready for the role at the start, I worked hard and applied again to show them that I was hard working and committed to achieving my goals and this had a very positive impact
