Overseeing the running of the hotel and restaurant during any given shift, managing a team of between 2 and 9 people and leasing with other departments such as the kitchen, nights team and housekeeping to ensure smooth running of the hotel.
Yes - I have looked at my job role in more depth and learnt lots of new skills - there is a clear platform for learning new material and the apprenticeship gives you confidence that you know how to do your job.
I really enjoy leaning and completing the material - I love seeing my progress and working towards the qualification bit by bit.
very well, but I think a better structure should be made clear to the learners. A clear table or schedule would be appropriate to hand out to learners to set a clear vision of what needs doing and when.

Lots - my training provider is on hand to answer any questions at any time and puts a lot of time and effort in to ensuring I know what I need to do and have all the tools I need to do it.
very well in the administration side, but I believe more of the 'managing shifts' side of the job should be included in the programme, to give more skills where it counts most
Yes - charity events are something we can get involved in. In September I walked up the Big One at Blackpool for Great Ormond Street Hospital as a work activity and we have done things like bucket rattling etc. There are also lots of courses and learning events that are available to employees.

It's a great company to work for and if you want to go far in the industry, it is a very intelligent company to learn from. It does have its drawbacks as all company's do, but in comparison to other hospitality companies it excels.
Get to grips with the brand, and invest in learning everything you can - it will aid your progression and make your job so much easier, as well as preventing mistakes!
