track technician, currently at the apprenticeship base most of the time in Coventry, aiming to gain by level two in engineering.
yes
I am enjoying the programme.
it is fairly well structured. However it can be unorganised at times. There is room for improvement.
we receive a lot of support if it is needed down in Coventry, constantly reminded of different charities and groups that are available.
many staff from Babcock who are there to support us. They run after class support sessions everyday to help those who may need some extra support and also for those who are behind on their work.
I believe that will help me perform better in my role as it has taught me aspects on engineering, and better ways to problem solve. However, a lot of our work and tasks set my Babcock are not massively related to the railway.
There are many events that take place once we finish our days work in Coventry. Network Rails Pete who works at Westwood in the gym is great for arranging activities for everyone to get involved in and spends a lot of time arranging them. he runs swimming contest, gym contests, water polo, football and a wide variety of different activities.
Yes
because of the future that can come with it, if you work hard enough.
always act respectfully and safe, if you are able to do this everything else required to be a good employee will follow.
