My role involves strategic media planning, website design and refresh, social media management, PR, content creation using Indesign, Photoshop etc., market campaign planning and execution and more.
I have learnt new skills and developed my existing skills set in my current role. I am challenged everyday with new tasks and apply my theory based learning at University into my day to day role at the majority of times.
The programme with LSBU has been good so far, with minor issues. I'm particularly enjoying my second year which is highly marketing focused and there are some fantastic lecturers present.
I enjoy my day release programme as feel it works really well with my work and social life balance.
Whenever I am struggling and need support, there is always someone to help. Whether that be my line manager, a member of the team etc.
The lecturers are always available for support via email and our assessments are mapped to our overall coursework so we are constantly working towards this.
It's given me a lot of new knowledge and skills which I would not have acquired previously. I also think of new ways of doing things whilst incorporating my learning at the same time.
There's a really great opportunity to get involved in various activities at work whether this be social events, in-house awareness days, fundraising initiatives, company away days, wellbeing support etc.

Yes
The business truly values their people and it's such a great atmosphere to work in. I feel really supported in my team and they appreciate that life can sometimes get in the way of work, so there's always someone to talk to if you need support.
Just go for it! Ask questions, get involved and really take pride in being an employee of TB+A.
