I work as nursing assistant support patients with day to day activities, support my nurses with clinical works.
Yes, I have learn new skills and develop competency by doing dressing and taking bloods and administering medication under supervision
I really enjoy the fact that I am going to be a band 4 and a progress route to band 5, but sometimes very stressful.
I think because nursing associate is a new role, most of the nurses find to difficult to engage which I think the programmed is not structured
The support is little because is a new role
The support with the training providing is more detailed which is not bad for the programme, but maybe too much information
I feel well structured for my qualification and it has develop and improve much of the skills to my role
Yes there is a lot of social activities to get involved
