  • the support I receive from my line manager, HR and everyone in general as been more than I expected.

  • Not as much as we would like due to it being an online course.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Not much yet as I have not started learning about construction in my degree.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No. But I would be interested in going to networking events.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Mace to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They look after us apprentices and provide so much support. We also learn a lot on the job whilst gaining a degree. There is also so many apprentices and grads in the office who you build relationships with so there's a social side to working with Mace also.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace?
  • In the interview be confident - they do not expect you to know loads about construction when you first join so make sure you know about Mace as a business and their core values. Also, get your application in as soon as they open.
