  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • As an an Analyst at Deloitte I am part of a project team who help solve Clients complex Technology problems. As a result every day is different. It often involves engaging with Clients and producing Project Deliverables.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • Since joining Deloitte I have learnt lots of both technical and soft skills. The hands on experience I have gained working on client projects is invaluable and something you definitely to not get to experience at university. I have also learnt lots during my studies away form the workplace.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • So far I have really enjoyed my time on the BrightStart scheme. The work life balance is quite good. There is a really good social life both within the apprenticeship community and on client projects.

    • The programme is well structured and Deloitte are good at taking on feedback on this topic.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • There is a good feedback system, I receive regular feedback sessions with the manager on my project. As well as with my coach and the college / education team.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • Regular sessions take place with the College, Deloitte and the apprentice to discuss progress.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • The qualification is quite well adapted to help me perform better in my role. However I learn most from the experience I gain on the job.

    • Yes there are lots of these opportunities.

    • Yes

    • Great place to learn and work. There is a great sense of community and everyone is always willing to help.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?

    • - To demonstrate the reasons why you would like a place on their programme whilst also showing why they should give a place to you. - Be prepared! - Be yourself and express your ideas
