  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My work is project based and therefore not only differs project to project, but also day-to-day. I currently am a data anlyser, so i work with big excel spreasheets and use the data to create dashboards and graphs, and use these in workshops or within presentations.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Before working, I didn't even know what excel was and now I am fairly good at using it, and spend most of my project work using it. I have also learnt visualising software such as Tableau or Microstrategy, which I didn't even know exsisted previously.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love the programme I am on, everyone is very supportive in helping me grow and shape my career in the way i want. I am learning new skills every project, and also have the opportunity to learn alongside this.

  • I believe it is very well organised and structured, there is a good support structure from when you join, and the timelines and known from the beginning

  • A lot, especially in terms of managing project work and mandatory study.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support, we are given two days off a month when we are working towards our qualifications to give us time away from projects to fully focus.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel as though it helps me as sometimes what I am learning has relevance to my project work, which allows me to have a good understanding

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is many socials that occur on a regular basis to get to know your network, there is also sporting events that happen often. I feel as though if you want an extra-curricular event to happen you could encourage others to join.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Deloitte to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel as though it is a really good apprenticeship, you have a secure job opportunity which allows you to have work experience but also qualifications. Everyone at the job is fully supportive and willing to help you grow in your career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?
  • I would say to be yourself, Deloitte like honesty and accept a wide range of people. I would also say to try and get to know what you want from your career, this allows you to let others now and help shape your time here.
