My work is project based and therefore not only differs project to project, but also day-to-day. I currently am a data anlyser, so i work with big excel spreasheets and use the data to create dashboards and graphs, and use these in workshops or within presentations.
Before working, I didn't even know what excel was and now I am fairly good at using it, and spend most of my project work using it. I have also learnt visualising software such as Tableau or Microstrategy, which I didn't even know exsisted previously.
I love the programme I am on, everyone is very supportive in helping me grow and shape my career in the way i want. I am learning new skills every project, and also have the opportunity to learn alongside this.
I believe it is very well organised and structured, there is a good support structure from when you join, and the timelines and known from the beginning
A lot, especially in terms of managing project work and mandatory study.
A lot of support, we are given two days off a month when we are working towards our qualifications to give us time away from projects to fully focus.
I feel as though it helps me as sometimes what I am learning has relevance to my project work, which allows me to have a good understanding
There is many socials that occur on a regular basis to get to know your network, there is also sporting events that happen often. I feel as though if you want an extra-curricular event to happen you could encourage others to join.
Yes
I feel as though it is a really good apprenticeship, you have a secure job opportunity which allows you to have work experience but also qualifications. Everyone at the job is fully supportive and willing to help you grow in your career.
I would say to be yourself, Deloitte like honesty and accept a wide range of people. I would also say to try and get to know what you want from your career, this allows you to let others now and help shape your time here.
