A Digital Technology consultant. Within this industry, I primarily focus my efforts as a Business Analyst, on communicating with clients in workshops, to understand the daily business struggles. Following this I liaise with developers, designers, architects etc. to finalize a solution which no only digitizes a business' current ways of working, but elevates their current position; whether that is by increasing efficiency, automating the workforce or bringing the business into the 21st century.
Yes, I have learnt the complexities of working with a client team and how practising different styles of communication work effectively with different members of the team.
The education side has been stressful, due to the 3rd party vendor being difficult to communicate with. Deloitte have been helpful in trying to escalate my issues.
Fairly well structured, the education plan is less definitive - which is great for flexibility but leaves room for the educator vendor to delay feedback.
A lot of support is provided
Not very much, they have been difficult to communicate with for marking. The catch up sessions however have been valuable.
It hasn't really added to my role, learning on the job has helped me progress practically
