I really enjoy refreshing my knowledge and learning new skills to use in my role in the workplace. It works around my job and personal life as I can complete it as and when I have the time. It has really flexible deadlines so I can catch up if I’m busy or get ahead in quiet periods
It’s structured but in the right way. It doesn’t put pressure on me with set deadlines and I can set my own around my busy and quiet periods. I am sent updates and feedback and my tutor lets me know if I’m on track or need to catch up
I haven’t needed to use any support as of yet but my manager is always there if I need something clarifying or explaining any more. My manager is there if I need extra training on something or if I feel I have a weak area. I’ve no doubt she would be supportive if needed
My training provider is always on hand via email, text or phonecall if I need any support or clarification with my coursework. She was fantastic when I was working towards resitting my maths level 2 exam and I passed it first tine which shows that her methods do work well

I have recently joined the GLOW team which supports team members who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. We arrange extra curricular activities such as bowling or the cinema to help the community feel as part of a team and more confident in themselves. I am part of this community and feel it is a great asset
