I work in the Regional office, and day to day I engage with different teams to gather data and information which ultimately helps to achieve my teams project goal. The data I accumilate, through meetings and calls, is there fed into a number of different reports which I run.
Yes, there are many new skills which I have learnt in my role, such as stakeholder management, scope management, my MSP and excel skills have developed further as well. And also my general skills of communication, organisation and time management have continued to develop.
A lot, I am really happy with the job and my programme.
From the work perspective, it is veyr good. In regards to the training provider and the learning side it has been lacking.
A lot, I am very satisified with the support I recieve,
Not masses, or not very detailed. As they are not familiar with the work my team does it can be hard for them to understand. The support may improve as I get closer to the exam though.
The learning I am doing, helps me understand project management better, and get better knowledge of different terminology and PM techniques, however, I do this in my own time through online training.
Yes there are some of these.
Yes
There is a great company culture here, the people are really great and you feel at home instantly. I can't recomend the company enough, they have made my apprenticeship so far, a great experience.
Show your skills, but know that Virgin don't expect you to know everything already. The best version of yourself you can be is driven, friendly and passionate, so try to reflect the virgin values in the work you do.
