In terms of giving me the basics of the job - as opposed to the real-world realities (which will come in due course) - the training programme has been great so far.

The trainers seem to want us to ‘pass’ and move foreard, and so their attitude is a collaborative one.
I am only four week into the 12 week training programme and so it is impossible to say at this stage.
I am not sure at present... but I certainly intend finding out!

The company ethos seems to be that they want me/us to be successful *and* happy. I have a distinct impression that they recognise that a decent work-life balance is important. This was evident during the interview process
Nothing that one wouldn’t do with any other application: investigate the plethora of jobs available [on the BT website], research the requirements, gain an understanding (or qualification) and be yourself when in interview. The difference is, though, the feeling that you have when talking to the interviewer.
