I have learned lifestyling which is out of my day to day work schedule. I am working towards getting my license for ports (which is part of my work area).
Its really helpful when it comes to getting some additional knowledge about banking.
The text book gives an overview of the areas within a bank and the roles to perform. I don't really understand how this would help me in climbing to a higher post in my company

To a certain extend it helps when it comes to chapters 3,4,5 & 6. But not 1 & 2 which is more about banking and its evolution which is not ideal for me as a pension administrator
