  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • Serving customers hot food with quick service. Managing employees and coaching new and existing staff and managers. Being a role model and acting as a friend and a mentor to my staff. Hiring budgets set by the franchisee and supervisors.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have learnt new skills through my apprenticeship which helps me to look at our customers satisfaction and how we can better this in the restaurants. I have alps learnt how to lead the team better and how to manage my own time.

    • I highly enjoy the challenge and hard work which is worth what I put into it

    • Very well structured, we get a lot of notice when we need to attend university and we have tasks to do weekly on moodle!

    • I recieve a lot of support. They pay me to have time to complete my apprenticeship work each week!

    • A lot, the same as my employer. They are always on hand to answer and questions or queries

    • It will help me to excel in my role and take on new challenges and promotions

    • Not many but we do have regular events

    • Yes

    • It's a great company to work for due to teamwork, frendliness, management, training, motivation from others and flexibility

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?

    • Give it a shot and don't have a pre-conception of what it's going to be like. It will surprise you by how much you enjoy it
