I am currently working in Supply Chain and gaining all round experience of working with Copackers and customers external to Nestle'. I am currently helping out on the administration side and taking on roles given to me by planners. I have a variety of day to day taks from handling Master data to Discontinuation. I deal with a veriety of different teams aswell as support Thirp party in everything I do.
I am currently studying towards a Degree in Proffessional Business Practice at Sheffield Hallam University which I will complete over a 3 year period. I have also had training on Presenting; This is fully funded by Nestle.
I love working in a team and at nestle you really do feel that everyone is striving for that same goal. the team I am currently working in are incredibly helpful and full of genuine and honest people. The academy really give you responsablity even at the age of 18. The Commercial trainee's and I completely ran the open evening for the programme and I love getting involved with all the presenting.
I feel that I am valued at the company due to the appreciation I get from my team. The comapny is really people focussed which is great as you feel really at the heart of the brands. The one building point for thew company would be developing Recognition of peoples hard work external from your team.
The programme is incredibly organised and everyone knows what placement they are in and when they are moving next. A building point would be given precise dates of when we will be moving. The studying and University side of the course is incredibly structured and thers nothing I could possibly critique.
Sheffield Hallam are incredibly organised and the majority of the lecturers are very good at answering questions and emails. The online site Blackboard has a wide range of information and is accessible on the free ipads given to each employee on the scheme.
I feel that the Academy could get more involved and have regular contact with every Commercial Trainee. We see one of our stakeholders from the Academy once every 6 weeks for a day this is a great time to ask direct questions but when emailing some members of the group, you may have to wait a bit of time for a responce. On the other hand I have great relationship with my Line Manage and the team i am working in. I have also got a buddy who is incredibly helpful when asking questions about the business or university.
All Expences are Paid and a 17K Salary.
I currently play Football for Nestle and there is a Gym you can get stuck in with if you choose.

You also have the benfit of having a Degree fully paid for by Nestle' which is incredibly rare and I am really fortunate to be in this position. Lastly, Nestle is a people centrered company and every employee is respected and treated the same as the CEO.
