On a day to day basis I spend my time helping customers with mortgage decision in principles. 1 day a week I study for my exams. I have 3 in total that I will be taking.
yes, I will be learning a great deal and will be using this in my day to day role.
I am very excited to complete my exams and get started embedding that into my new role. I love that I get a day a week to study. This helps achieve my desired outcome quicker.
The first couple of months weren't very organised, purely due to Christmas and new year.
HSBC are very supportive, it does work on customer demand however so if we are busy sometimes I can miss my study time.
They have been good at answering queries.
it is still earlier in my learning stage but I do feel more confident to talk to customers about this already.

great company to work for, pay could be better
start at the contact centre, branches pay less. don't worry about starting low because if you are motivated you can build yourself quickly.
