I am heavily involved with the team and sometimes go out to client meetings. I have worked on a number of various projects with all the people in my team.
I have developed patience and being able to concentrate for a longer period of time. I have definitely learned more about tax and accounting which was an obvious learning path. I have become more confident to talk to people and voice my opinion
I do enjoy it - but it does get very tiring. I wouldn't swap this experience for anything else.
It is quite well organised, sometimes it does get a bit messy as a lot of people are involved and many don't stick to times so sometimes courses may be hard to understand when they are etc.
My coach at BDO is the best. I have a very good relationship with her and I can talk to her about anything. I have received a lot of support from the whole team.
I have had some support, there is so much that they can do.
I definitely think its made a big difference - the tutors are very high quality.
Sometimes there are some networking events but I think there should be more, especially within the bubble.
Yes
It can help to build your confidence no matter what type of person you are.
Just be yourself! If you are not you may not like the company and the company may not want someone like you (in the nicest way)
