My role involves assisting all colleagues with any tasks they may have as well as taking on my own clients. This ranges from admin tasks like printing, scanning and sorting files, to completing computations, filing computations, presentations, attending meetings, on new clients looking at new tax laws and understanding them.

I enjoy my programme hugely except form times there is very little work to do as work is not available. Further to this I feel the exams timing including college days and study leave days is every disorganised which is uncomfortable.
I feel its good in aspects and lacks in others. The study leave period is too short as experienced by other colleagues too. The organisation of the apprenticeship is not of a very high level and even the structure of the apprenticeship is not clear.
I receive a huge amount of support from my employers, I am able to ask them anything I am confused, anxious or worried about without a second thought. They explain things to me clearly and are always understanding even if they have to explain things more than once.
I don't believe in my opinion that we are treated to the highest level we could be. There have been numerous occasions where we've had to contact them about confusions as well as be subject to changing of dates over and over again which disrupt our timetables.
I believe it does to an extent but at the same time since the self study period is so short one is required to cram in a lot and thus the knowledge we've picked up is lost after the exam until we experience the scenarios at work.
There are many socials to be involved in and they do take into consideration everyone's needs. I do believe sports especially for girls is lacking though.
Yes
The working environment, friendliness of the people there and the support you get from colleagues.
Expect a lot of hard work but at the same time a lot of fun. Make sure you are open and be yourself to make your stay at BDO more enjoyable and welcoming.
