  • My role is as a business improvement practitioner. I facilitate process improvement projects in an operational environment, using Lean Six Sigma tools to make processes more economic and profitable.

  • I have developed my communication skills, including how to run workshops and facilitate meetings. I have developed my business knowledge, especially in Lean Six Sigma.

  • I thoroughly enjoy the new challenges and experiences that come with my role/programme.

  • The programme is well structured and very manageable with my role.

  • I'm very well supported in my role and in my course, with regular 121s and coaching.

  • So far, monthly sessions have worked well in preparation for my qualification, I am confidant future support will be provided as well.

  • So far my apprenticeship has helped to consolidate what I am learning on the job. I feel more confidant in my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I'm currently involved in the Diversity and Inclusion group, which is enjoyable and something I'm very passionate about. We have regular social events with the Graduates, Interns and Apprentices within our office. I have also been involved in an apprenticeship fair at a local school, where I could encourage other young people to consider an apprenticeship route.

  • Do lots of research into the company, as it's very large and varied.
