day to day business involves monitoring and responding to faults on the railway network and being involved in a multi disciplined team which means responding to a wide range of faults
I have learnt new skills on my apprenticeship as well as developing my skills working alongside professionals within the trade that are able to teach me better ways of carrying out tasks
I enjoy working within a friendly team and a job role which is interesting but still challenging.
the programme has been structured in a manner which suits the learner with lots of hands on experienced and engaging theory.
support is always there from the employer whether that is from more experienced technicians or right the way up to management benefits of working with a friendly team.
training provider was always there to help if needed however due to the nature of the course it is easier to seek help from the company if specific knowledge was required.
as I have never worked in a railway environment the training provider was beneficial as it gave me the needed skills to work on the railway.
social activities usually consist of a Friday night drink for anyway that wishes there is a company football team which brings the teams together whether that is spectating or playing
