My role includes many admin duties such as, processing the holiday chart for Business Change staff, processing invoices and the spreadsheet, delivering post, assisting the Engagement managers and Consultancy team by managing their diaries and scheduling meetings, uploading Roadmaps onto the sharePoint area, I also assist my manager with any duties she needs my help with, such as presentations, hot desking, helping her with PA duties.
I have developed my knowledge on Microsoft Excel, learned how to use the M&G SharePoint webpage so I can upload Roadmaps, and I have also learned how to use Outlook, and have even developed my personal skills of organising.
I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship so far, I'm learning something new nearly every day, and I have great support from my team at M&G and my apprentice assessor.
I feel very valued, no one is treated differently, regarding age, experience etc, I feel like a very good part of the team.
Pretty structured, exam dates get moved but this can't always be helped.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider, if I have any queries I know I can ask my training provider.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and she is always very encouraging.
I think my salary is reasonable for being an apprentice
Yes there are always training days I can go on and social events which I can attend.
Yes
It is a very supportive company who want you to succeed as an individual as well as being a successful business. I work with lovely people, and am well looked after at M&G.
Practice the tests which they give you as some people can find these difficult, ensure you are smartly dressed and confident for your interview stage. There are many opportunities at M&G so if you feel like you've applied for the wrong role, you can see if you like it and after your apprenticeship there are always opportunities to move around in the company.
