Day to day I am on the tools working directly with customers to get them back in service. We are given 10 days across the year to work on our NVQ.
I have learnt many new skills and they continue to improve as I gain experience.
The programme is hard but it is enjoyable once you get more comfortable with the work that needs to be done.
The organisation of the programme is ok with days booked in to work directly with the NVQ assessors throughout the year in work time.
The is good support from the employer
A lot of support is available if needed.
It gives me confidence by solidifying my knowledge.
Once in a while but not often.
Yes
It's a solid job that gives you the freedom to plan your day. There is support behind you as well just a phone call away.
This is a good role but be ready to work hard. You get out what you put into this.
