I enjoy the new skills and techniques I am learning to carry out my day to day tasks. I enjoy the confidence boost it gives me to progress in my role. I like the day release from work to attend college as it provides an opportunity to review working practices.
The course itself is well organised and structured with plenty of support provided. Work provides the practical experience required to completed the course and achieve my goal. It can be difficult at times to find the balance between work priorities and course work completion. This all part of the learning.
I received adequate support from my employer. There are several in-house training courses available to enhance my training and have completed several to date. I am provided with a mentor for encouragement and advise on how to proceed with issues as they arise. My Line Manager also offers support and assigns task to help with gaining experience required.
I receive regular support from training provider at regular intervals. There is online support should there be any issues. I also receive email communications on progress. There also regular reviews of work place and college that are carried out. College tutor also provide support and after class discussions if necessary.
I feel that my qualification through my training provider will help me to perform better in my role by providing me with the skills, understanding and knowledge required. This will build my confidence in making decisions and encourages me along my career. Better personal development for the next appraisal scheduled.
