Shadowing employees on various placements to get a duet her understanding of the job I will undertake upon completion of the apprenticeship. If not on placement I am on training courses or at college
I have gained general knowledge on the railway however no specific skills have been developed as of yet.
When completing work and getting hands on experience it is very enjoyable however there have been many slow days where nothing happens and little experienced is gained. Those days are less enjoyable
The college is difficult to work with however recently there have been some personnel changes that I have not been able to witness the changes yet so am unaware of any improvements.
Support is always offered and weekly checkups are made from management whilst on placement
Management at the college were very helpful however my class have struggled with some of the teaching staff and believe they are not up to the standard we should have.
No real useful knowledge has been gained from the qualification so far from the training provider however we have only had two introductory blocks at college.
Many extra curricular activities are advertised to us on a weekly basis.
