I am a care worker at chestnut grove I assist everyday living for vunrable adults with dementia and degenerate illnesses that sometimes take their abilities away. So with assistance personal care needs are supported and encouragement is given to keep independence.i assist with administering medication, feeding and everyday tasks. I update care plans and care notes,deal with doctors and district nurses I also assist families of service users.i work in a team and support each other as well.
I have learnt a lot about the equality diversity and inclusion side of care I have developed my skills in care and compassion.
The fact I am learning every step of my programme.

I receive 100% support, lots of encouragement and praise.

His support was fantastic and at times I felt I wasn’t achieving he pushed me to go further.
Due to the knowledge and confidence it is now easier to put it into action practically and emotionally.
We as a team socialise on our days off. Meet up for coffee etc
