Workin with a fitter to manufacture aircraft and one day release for college to complete a BTEC qualification
Yes I’d never worked in manufacturing or engineering so I’ve learnt a lot of new skills
I’ve met some good friends during this programme, I enjoy the work I do and the the skills I’ve learnt
Excellent in parts but communications could be a little better
A lot of support from tutors and assessors. Meetings with early career managers could be beneficial
Enough support to explain the qualifications and what jobs to look for. The work is entirely my responsibility though which means I am learning more effectively
The qualification is teaching me essential skills about my role and how I conduct myself out of work
There is extracurricular events, however, I have a busy out of work life and don’t get time to attend them.

Great company to work for and they commit a lot to you for you to take a lot out of it
Think critically about everything, make sure you try hard and try doin everythin you do to a high standard
