It's been invaluable in starting my career.
Well organised and structured. Some improvements to be made with allocated time at university but in general all is very clear and easy to follo.w
HR have been supportive and understanding. A special shout out to my line manager who has been amazing throughout the programme and provides support and empathy at all points of the programme.
Pearson has always been supportive of my training.
Some of the modules have been useful on the job, however, most of the content has to be taken out of context and reapplied to be genuinely useful in a working environment. The modules were more about "ticking a box" than they were applicable for day to day working life.
Yes, social, sport, charitable. L'Oreal offers lots of options. I was quite shy and struggled in busy social situations but managed to make it work for me.
Yes
With the right attitude and mindset, you can make something really positive happen with a placement at L'Oreal. The autonomy required to do this can be scary, but it is this that helps you to push through and develop.
Give it everything, don't hold back. But take time to learn and understand your surroundings, the business culture, how people work. Set yourself time to develop and then strive to take everything you can from the placement. You're wasting your time otherwise.
