Working in a highly organised, technical and professional environment to develop my engineering skills in order to deliver on customer needs and work towards CEng status. I would highly recommend BAE’s schemes to those who wish to develop in a technical capacity while contributing to projects of national importance.
I have developed new skills while on the scheme as well as enhancing existing skills.
I have greatly enjoyed BAE's apprenticeship programme and would highly recommend it to others. It is a fantastic company to work for.
My scheme is very well organised, key milestones are set out initially and regular reviews ensure that the milestones can be reached. The scheme also allows a good degree of flexibility for you to develop in any direction you wish.
BAE provide amble support on the scheme, ensureing that you are developing and happy with your role.
Cranfield provided support during coursework and lectures with the option to seek additional support if needed.
Cranfield's lectures are both relevant to my role and contribute to my development in the broader engineering function.
BAE offers a wide range of professional networking events to early career employees. The offices are also social and friendly with plenty of activities for employees.
